Remembering the great Astrud Gilberto who was born this week in 1940. One of the most important figures of the bossa nova movement, she entered show business in 1963 through her husband at the time, guitarist and composer João Gilberto. They worked with Antonio Carlos Jobim on developing bossa nova, a musical style that combined Brazilian samba rhythms and jazz.

The sound interested American jazz musician Stan Getz, who invited the two men to record with him. One of the tracks, “The Girl from Ipanema,” required a vocalist who could sing in English. Astrud, musically inexperienced but conversant in Portuguese and English, tried the lyrics, and her soft, even voice and low-key style fit the song. “The Girl From Ipanema” earned a 1964 Grammy Award as record of the year, and Getz/Gilberto was honored as best album.

Breaking News: Japan bans mRNA Covid shots

Japan has just banned Covid mRNA shots for public use and called on other nations to follow suit after an official government study tied the injections to the nation’s soaring sudden deaths.

Like many other countries around the world, Japan has been battling a crisis of skyrocketing sudden and unexpected deaths since 2021.

The issue has become so dire in Japan that the country is now facing population collapse as more citizens are dying than are being born.

New studies in Japan have now linked the soaring deaths to Covid injections.

Many governments including Canada, the United States and the UK have all tried to censor and avoid discussion of the growing Excess Deaths and reported vaccine injuries but leaders like British PM Rishi Sunak have refused to investigate and insisted that the vaccines are safe and effective.

Of course Mr Sunak invested $500 million dollars of his personal fortune into Moderna and also awarded them 1 billion of taxpayers money to set up further interests in the UK thereby using his position as Prime Minister to enrich himself.

However their dam of lies is starting to break.

Lets hope criminal prosecutions follow.
