I’ve heard of some agents requiring even less than one week to respond to an offer. An author should have the time they need to explore every option and they should it’s their career. Agents doing this isn’t okay. It tells me they only care about themselves and not the author.

Yesterday I tried to go to a store with my guide dog and the store owner argued with me for around 15-20 minutes about whether my dog was real. This person thought all service dogs wore a fabric vest. 1/🧵
