I think feminist activism allows women to feel safe to express themselves online in most countries. However, in some countries, it is still censored. I think that the West can greatly impact such views in other countries. #lesson10
I remember in school being a feminist was actually something the boys would call you as an insult really. It was used to diminish your opinions on any given situation.

As good as social media is to learn more about issues involved in feminism, it is also detrimental to the movement. They portray feminists as women who want to be more powerful than men and take over the world when that is not at all the case. #lesson10
Reading this lesson was hard as a woman, it reminded me how lucky I am to be a Canadian. Not every woman wakes up free and that is devastating. #lesson10

People need to be informed and taught about the importance of privacy when using social media. Classes should be offered in school especially when students use social media for learning purposes. #lesson9

I personally do not think schools monitoring students computer usages at school is an invasion of privacy because they are supposed to be doing school work and not other things whilst there. #Lesson9
