If I roughly back-calculate this:

₹58 crore of self-assessment tax paid on 31 Aug, with little/no advance tax, could mean ~₹6 crore+ of interest alone.

That means the underlying tax liability is still ~₹52 crore.

Now reverse-calculate the income after surcharge + cess — you're talking about ~₹135 crore+ of taxable income.

That's an absolutely insane level of income.

Which makes me wonder:

Either the income was generated so late that advance tax wasn't paid, or the person was deliberately carrying a huge tax liability despite the cost of interest because he is earning more than interest.

And honestly, if someone is earning at this scale, you'd expect them to have their tax compliance sorted.

Especially when the Income Tax Department's systems flags taxpayers with significant tax liabilities and prompt them regarding advance tax.

So either there's a very specific explanation behind this… or that screenshot is just for engagement farming.
