Mental health things you don’t actually have to do:
Explain your mental health care choices to people who aren’t your doctor or therapist.
Pretend that every day is supposed to be a good day, even if you’re in a “better” season of life than you were.
Hide your story or feel shame for the heaviest things you’ve gone through.
Prove your pain or your healing.
For those feeling exhausted from trying so hard:
Resting for a moment is part of the trying. Taking a break is part of what gets you where you hope to be.
It's okay to let go of things that you don't need anymore. If something used to be helpful, but it's served its purpose, it's okay to move forward and adjust.
.@Spotify asked me to create playlists for many of the characters in #Superman, imagining the music each of them listened to. I haven't had more fun this year.
