THIS IS GREAT!
๐จ๐จ๐จBREAKING: Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes tells the U.S. Supreme Court to shove it!
Here are the facts. ๐
Arizona has a law on the books โ much like the Colorado law the Supreme Court struck down โ that says, in simple terms, a business open to the public canโt discriminate against gay people.
After the radical right-wing majority of the U.S. Supreme Court issued a ruling last week that said a web designer could refuse to design wedding websites for same-sex couples, Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes announced she would enforce the law on the books anyway โ
The Supreme Court be damned! ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
Not in Arizona, according to Mayes.
She will 'continue to enforce' Arizona's law. ๐
โDespite todayโs ruling, Arizona law prohibits discrimination in places of public accommodation, including discrimination because of sexual orientation and gender identity.
โIf any Arizonan believes that they have been the victim of discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), national origin, or ancestry in a place of public accommodation, they should file a complaint with my office.
I will continue to enforce Arizonaโs public accommodation law to its fullest extent.โ
Smash the ๐ if you appreciate the Arizona AG for STANDING UP for Human Rights! ๐ณ๏ธโ๐
@RepMTG Holy f**k woman. If you donโt understand the geopolitical importance of this issue, get the hell out of government service. Youโre such a twit
@Eddie1771369@ACTBrigitte An honest man??? You have zero cognitive abilities if you truly think that. So many, too many examples to list, but how about the BIG LIE? He did not win the election, and every single judge they went before laughed them out of court.
