@ACE_Wealth@KyleClark@RedRocksCO I wasn’t able to check the radar last night at the show, service was unavailable. I did try. I’m sure Red Rocks could see it tho.
Tonight was the scariest night of my life. It started pelting people with hail at Red Rocks and my sister and I luckily found shelter under a sign. I am bleeding and have huge bumps on my head from the hail. Hoping everyone made it out safely.
That was terrifying. Golf ball sized hail with very little warning at #RedRocks, nowhere to go because the main exit was barricaded. Hid under a recycling bin lid. People screaming and hurt, & then at the bottom of the stairs it started flooding up to our shins. Srsly not okay.
@patienevad@RedRocksCO I’m so sorry. My sis & I managed to get under a recycling bin for the worst of it, so very minor bruises. We were some of the lucky ones and it was still traumatizing af. Sending you love, hope you’re okay & safe.
@kgthecrazy22@RedRocksCO Exactly. The whole thing was handled terribly, but I will never forget little kids screaming and getting trampled. That was traumatizing for me, an adult… I can’t even imagine for the kids there. Red Rocks needs to answer for this.
@njmcrally@musing60s@Jeopardy Right - even if not on purpose, she’s said in her threads of previous nights that she was just exhausted. This is right around when she was robbed as well - I honestly can’t even imagine the emotional and mental toll for her. She had an amazing run! 💕
My father didn’t just happen upon death.
White supremacists assassinated him to silence his voice & stop his work of eradicating the “Triple Evils”: Racism, Militarism, Poverty.
Those who unrepentantly benefited from these evils railed against their eradication. They still do.
Imagine thinking *YOU* need to be the voice of the voiceless. Imagine thinking people are actually "voiceless" and not systematically silenced. Our work is not to be other people's voice. It is to question how and why we got access to spaces others couldn't, and to pass the mic.
