this changes once you have multiple of them, each running the dev servers, interacting with the app while they work on it, execute tests / checks, and spawn subagents that review.
in that session yesterday i had 5-10 tasks running in parallel to implement stuff and each of them spinning up 4 reviewers when they thought they are done and then iterating on the findings.
so in the worst case 40 agents doing stuff.
5-10 parallel tasks in codex with each one running the dev servers, trying the app in browsers, running tests, and apawning a handful of review agents to iterate.
plus me manually reading / testing one of the branches.
i bought the new one because i needed more ram and i was hoping to have a longer lasting battery lol
@burnerDevAcct i can take it with me when i have to. and i have to quite a lot.
but with longer running afk tasks i feel bad when unplugging and backpacking it.
we gotta treat laptops as gateways to our dev machines that are running somewhere else.

@alexanderOpalic why do i need to move it to the cloud to do multiplayer?
i run the tasks on one of my macbooks that is plugged in. remote controlled. i can open them anytime to unblock anything. they are way cheaper to run the things on than the cloud because i already have them.
