@MaiVang21 I am planning on implementing Breakout Edu in my class, I hope it goes over as well as it did with us #csufmath

[Carl Eberly @carleberlymath]

@jpad48 that list of websites is a great resource! #csufmath

[Carl Eberly @carleberlymath]

A3: There are several different ways to learn math that are infinitely better than 50 questions on a worksheet #ashleyncarl #csufmath

[Carl Eberly @carleberlymath]

@MaiVang21 not only is it time consuming, but it is fun and the kids learn something without realizing it #csufmath

[Carl Eberly @carleberlymath]

@AshleyTobias03 It is definitely a great way to get the kids engaged and learning #csufmath

[Carl Eberly @carleberlymath]

A2: The ultimate puzzle during the Breakout Edu because everyone worked together and solving puzzles is great #ashleyncarl #csufmath

[Carl Eberly @carleberlymath]

@jpad48 definitely make sure no student receives special privileges, or they will think they can get away with stuff #csufmath

[Carl Eberly @carleberlymath]

A1: Be consistent and be authoritative, and make sure you are fair with consequences #ashleyncarl #csufmath

[Carl Eberly @carleberlymath]

@kazuav27 How much practice? #mathbeyond

[Carl Eberly @carleberlymath]

A8: Maybe 1 or 2 problems that go into depth, rather than a WS with 20 of the same exact question #mathbeyond

[Carl Eberly @carleberlymath]

@liz31ctff that is true, we should encourage students to determine if their answers make sense #mathbeyond

[Carl Eberly @carleberlymath]

@kazuav27 In elementary they should develop their number sense I agree with no calculators there #mathbeyond

[Carl Eberly @carleberlymath]

@ColeMrKevin Why not? #mathbeyond

[Carl Eberly @carleberlymath]

A7: I would allow calculators in class b/c then the students can focus on the concept and not waste time with long calculations #mathbeyond

[Carl Eberly @carleberlymath]

@missav298 I really like the idea of having the students debate #mathbeyond

[Carl Eberly @carleberlymath]

@AshleyTobias03 I like would you rather because then the students have to justify their answers #mathbeyond

[Carl Eberly @carleberlymath]

A6: SolveMe Mobile b/c the students have to grasp the idea of equality and it also gives them the option to create their own #mathbeyond

[Carl Eberly @carleberlymath]

@AshleyTobias03 definitely the goal for every teacher should be to have them not even realize they are learning #mathbeyond
