Especially with South Africa’s low numbers. Average 2000 at the moment. Most likely brought to South Africa by a Brit.
@MaffyewAgain23@SkyNews That’s where the genius scientists detected it and then actually reported it. Not where it started necessarily. It’s not reasonable to assume anything in such haste nor reasonable to condemn an entire nation for being one of the few in the world that is transparent.
Omicron is not a 'South African variant', it's a variant that was spotted & reported by brilliant South African scientists so fast the world has a chance to get on top of it. Could have originated anywhere.
