Not Triple H's biggest fan, but paying tribute to fallen wrestlers isnt a race. He knew him well, he worked with him closely in NXT. Taking 12 hours to collect your thoughts is probably a good thing. There's things to criticism him for, but this isnt it.
Quick LNG update:
Our usual bs feels even more trivial than usual today, so we’re going to delay the week’s intended schedule.
Instead, the flagship will shift to tomorrow, where we’ll watch some PAC matches.
Beyond that, we’ll take it day by day. Hope everyone is well.
The first time I saw PAC in NXT, I couldn’t believe my eyes. I was basically a WWE only fan in 2015 and I was blown away the first time he hit the red arrow. His grace and athleticism was breathtaking and I felt that way every time I had seen him since. RIP to the big man.
It’s never easy hearing about someone passing away, especially when the news is so sudden and unexpected.
Just over 24 hours ago we all witnessed PAC put on a fantastic match against Andrade El Ídolo at AEW ALL OUT, and today he is gone...
Growing up watching the build of NXT, Adrian Neville held a special place in my heart as a fan. He was always a stand-out performer, who was doing things we rarely get to see done inside of a professional wrestling ring.
PAC or Neville, was a once in a lifetime performer. In my opinion, he will go down as one of the most underrated wrestlers to ever grace a ring. Truly criminal that he never won a world championship in a big company.
I am just grateful that I got the chance to see him wrestle in-person and on my television screen over the years.
My deepest condolences to PAC’s family, friends, and colleagues on his passing ❤️
Rest in Peace, Benjamin Satterley.
Thank you for everything.
This past week I heard someone say that Smackdown was “better than they expected” indicating a positive review. Better than they expected. The bar for WWE is in hell. There will always be a double standard.
I started All Out late and finished it this morning, as I am now old.
I understand both Moxley and Bloodline fatigue - but AEW will always be a victim of WWE comparisons. It’s unfortunate. That match last night was fine if you haven’t been inundated with 6 years of Bloodline.
Do I roll my eyes at Marvel Avengers set pieces where they trade run-ins, yes. But everyone on this app was acting like it was the drizzling shits last night.
Trippie Redd shares his thoughts on why we don’t see breakout superstars like XXXTENTACION & Juice WRLD anymore 💭
“Labels are signing 💩🍑 artists with a small ceiling and giving them a push like they are a Uzi, but it doesn’t work because none of these new artists are Uzi or Juice or X or me. But all those artists I just named have great real songs that can be played by all, not just kids.”
“The industry is weird right now. A bunch of wannabes doing the same music. I’m actually sorry for contributing to this fast food hipster music… We might have looked the same, but the music is not the same. You can’t play me a ‘F*ck Love’ or a ‘Taking a Walk’ by any of these new jits. It’s all turn up, drink, pop a pill, no meaning.”
