You were about to rebuild your
whole Claude Code setup in Codex.

Codex can import it.

Go to Settings, then General.
Hit Import other agent setup.

Codex scans your user setup
and the project you have open.

Continue takes everything.
Customize, then Confirm,
takes only what you pick.

Five you finish by hand:

tool permissions
custom MCP auth and headers
hooks that behave different

argument and path prompts

Checkmarks mean imported.
Still retest hooks and plugins.

Then pick GPT-6 Astra.
If it is missing, update Codex first.

CLI twin if you live in terminal:
run codex, type /import

Copy config.toml before you run
migrate-to-codex. That skill rewrites it.

Run one real task in Codex
before you delete Claude.

Import, don't rebuild.
