@constans Why?
You pay tax while you're resident. What right does any government have to confiscate property while you leave. Because that's what deemed disposal on unrealised gains is. Confiscation.
Unrealised gains are not gains at all.
If you'd actually invested, you'd understand.
@alexgrenier@kirkfletcher Yep. Unrealised gains are not gains at all.
The only people who don't understand this are people who have never invested, never taken a risk, never seen an investment go to zero.
And the argument that the gain took place in Canada, do me a favour. How did Canada help Nvidia

@AndyC_88@RobCurd2@paulbreenauthor He has an Irish grandparent, got a passport to help his Madrid transfer.
I do find it funny that Rice is as English as he is Irish yet the lefties insist he's Irish. What does that say about the players who don't even have one English parent?
@topdawgphase5@TheAdmiredBrah And the fact that England literally is the home of association football. I can't believe people genuinely get annoyed by it lol.
@Mike_Andreuzza That's why I said anywhere you'd need it. Yeah most homes in Northern Europe don't have it (many businesses do) but in Southern Europe and the Mediterranean I've never been anywhere that doesn't have it. Even the poor ex-commie places eg literally everywhere in Croatia has it
@TimoCodes@nikuscs@Mike_Andreuzza I'm all for bashing Europe when it deserves it, and it often does but people like that Levels guy do post some made up or extremely exaggerated nonsense.
Europe does plenty of things wrong, no need to fabricate more.
