It’s called Ox Alpha. Appeared August 20. No press release, no logo.

It holds 1 million tokens in memory — roughly a full codebase. It reads video, which even paid frontier models rarely do.

On a tough coding benchmark: 80%. Anthropic’s Fable 5: 65%. OpenAI’s GPT-5.6 Sol: 52%.

This is the fifth unnamed model in six months. Every previous one turned out to be a Chinese lab testing anonymously before a polished reveal.
