When the weather didn’t cooperate, @NathantheCL and I ended up at a pig sanctuary with 90+ rescued pigs. I had no idea pigs were this friendly… or that “pig tipping” was apparently a thing 😂

My first solo show as a co-headliner, getting to play so much of the new music live for the first time, and a crowd that brought the energy from start to finish.

A lot went into getting to this stage, which made finally stepping out there and doing the damn thing that much sweeter.

What is a Creator anyway? I used to only refer to myself as an Actor or a Singer. Sometimes I’d say Artist or Musician. As I started developing projects and gathering writers and directors I occasionally tacked on Producer. I guess I could add in Financier for the projects that needed come cash to get made. Then when there wasn’t much cash, I tried my hand at writing. When there wasn’t a budget for a good director, heck I’ll figure that out too - I have been on sets for 20 years at this point, how hard could it be? Hard, it turns out. But I’ve done it, and each time, I got a little better. So a Creator is really born out of necessity. It’s someone who has a vision, and doesn’t necessarily know exactly how to bring it to life, but they figure it out. They surround themselves with people better and more experienced than themselves whenever possible, and when not, they wear as many hats as it takes. I used to scoff at the term Creator, until I became one. Out of necessity. And grit. And passion. Now that term is one of the most complimentary things you could call me. For this project FOR LOVE, I was lucky to be inspired by the writing and directing of @JoshuaShultz, the acting from @larsenthompson and the volunteered time and talent from dozens of others.
