We’re delighted CLTC celebrations went off so well on 1st Dec. ! 2 newly resurfaced courts opened, commemorated 140 years of tennis in Carlow, & officially named the ‘Cooney Badminton Hall’ in celebration of PJ Cooney’s outstanding contribution to CLTC - Whoop! Whoop!

Massive congratulations to June Ann Byrne who has just become a World Champion. With her partner Wil Sevenstern, June Ann captured the ITF World Individual Championship WD85 title.

June Ann is an inspiration for all Irish players and really shows that tennis is a Sport for Life.
