@OilersNation Love that going into the first year of McDavid's super team friendly deal to free up cap space we're talking about a cap crunch because you over paid Walman, overpaid Frederic and added a couple million to downgrade goaltending with Jarry. This management team needs to go.
Defence
Ekholm-Bouchard
Nurse/Walman-Murphy
Stanley-Emberson
Stastney
Goalies
Shesterkin/Demko-Ingram
Don't care if it took the next 3 or 4 years of 1st that we have available I'd be trying to package them with walman or nurse, Jarry and a prospect like Hutson for shesterkin
If I'm the Oilers this off season I try to bring back Kappy on a similar contract for 2-3 years. Had trouble staying healthy but was effective when in the line up. Murphy similar $ for 2-3 if he's looking for a raise at 33 I'd let him walk. I'd like Dickinson back but he'd have
Try to hit a home run. Binners temperament and the Oilers defensive lapses would be a disaster. Call the Canucks about Boeser or Debrusk. But if you use all your trade chips for a goalie, take a gamble on Laine and hope he's healthy. I think Logan Stanley is a ufa. Could ba a fit
Lot's of moving parts and a lot to shoot for but you've got to go all in at this point. I'd be happy with a line up that looke something like
Forwards
Hyman-McDavid-Savoie
Podz-Dria-Laine/Boeser/Debrusk
Howard-Nuge-Kapanen
Fredric-Dickinson/Samanski-Dach

@BizNasty2point0@spittinchiclets Nobody reads Spec. He’s the whiniest, click bait driven reporter. Blocks everyone. And not over anything offensive. Just for not agreeing with him. Meet the guy out at a bar after a game, buy him a shot amd he won’t even drink it with you. Coward.
The question isn't how you call that a good call on the ice. The fact is when the play was whistled down it very clearly had not been called a goal on the ice by the nearest official. There is video proof. Then they had a little huddle and made a phantom call. #nhl
Looks like it was probably across but I don't see how they possibly called that a goal on the ice. The ref came in with his arms in the air blowing the play dead, not signaling a goal
The Canadiens/Lightening today really emphasized it but officiating across the board in all series has been brutally soft and unpredictable in any series I've watched so far this post season. #nhl#stanleycupplayoffs
