@ADHDeeez@supermarkus that’s not even the whole of the state… that’s just to the bridge. 10 hours 50 minutes from the southern most point to northern most point. Driving across the UP from the far east to the far west takes about 6 hours of continuous driving. 4.5 hours to cross the LP.
@josecuellomore@Indie5051 back in the day, concert tickets were like $30 for good seats, $100 for amazing seats. It’s not like it is now lol they were making money, sure, but not nearly what an artist can make now
These vitamins better start fuckin working soon because so far it feels like I’ve eaten an entire rockslides worth of them in the past two years and am sitting here stil feeling like shit
@barista_ta27411@Cantrushit no you’re right. education is bad. no one should be able to access education for free. it’s why only 33 out of the 34 developed nations have free eduction. we should all be permanently stupid.
Just letting everyone know I’m reading a book right now. I also drank 7 glasses of water yesterday. Im not saying explicitly that I’m a better person than you, but it is heavily heavily implied. Heaven is going to be awesome!
@therealDarrinS@MrAustinPredict@JoeSawasky@BigPawsofTruth@detroitnews Those same sites list
West Virginia (Red)
Louisiana (Red)
Arkansas (Red)
Kentucky (Red)
Mississippi (Red)
Alabama (Red)
as among the worst for education. That doesn’t mean inherently that one party is smarter or whatever, just that one uses funding better than another
@therealDarrinS@MrAustinPredict@JoeSawasky@BigPawsofTruth@detroitnews According to US News and National Reportcard, these states currently rank highest in education:
Massachusetts (Blue)
Vermont (Blue)
Maryland (Blue)
Connecticut (Blue)
Colorado (Blue)
New Jersey (Blue)
Virginia (Blue)
@matthewmaddock hi so this is exactly the kind of thing my tax dollars should fund. healthcare, education, infrastructure, all things that benefit the general population. my taxes shouldn’t pay for a lazy congress, inept senate, and senile president to start useless wars and subsidize Israel. 🤷♀️
If capitalism is so great, why do corporations need so many tax breaks, subsidies, exemptions, grants, legal protections, bailouts, and trade protections?
When citizens need these things, why is it socialism?
Since Mike Johnson says members of Congress don't make enough money with just their salaries, may I suggest:
- Dialing back on those streaming subscriptions
- Reducing your cell phone plan
- Taking public transportation
- Eating cheaper cuts of meat
- Eating in more often
- Turning off the lights when you're not in the room
- Getting a part-time job at Walmart
- Growing a f-cking spine and stop whining
Signed,
Everyone trying to eke out a living in your shitty economy
@libsoftiktok@Aetna This is exhausting. It’s your own gov letting the corporation screw you raw. Until we stand up against this bullshit and tell these private, unregulated insurance companies to jerk it, it will continue. I don’t understand why everyone is so against free healthcare for everyone.
@LadyNimby I love how your argument isn’t against the greedy, disgusting corporations for robbing you blind, but against the poor for being allowed to live.
@jewishgengar@redroverrrrr@hot_savce@KhymaniJames Except none of what they posted is against the law. Yelling fire when there isn’t one is a crime. Freedom of speech is freedom of speech. You can’t get banned from your own country because your government doesn’t like what you said. That’s the whole reason our 1A exists.
@Matheeusliim@NinahLO@cowgrr What’s so funny is he probably doesn’t have to work or do much of anything to maintain that lifestyle. She’s an influencer with 10.5 million followers. She makes anywhere from 10K-100K a month. She’s the breadwinner & the homemaker
