Bobby Holmes' funeral will take place on Wednesday 28th January at 11am at Woodside Crematorium, Paisley.
A minute's applause will take place prior to Saturday's home match against Dundee as we pay our respects to Bobby and his achievements at St Mirren.
๐บ๐ธ Travel to the USA ๐บ๐ธ
Scots travelling to the USA will need 2 of 3 things.
- A passport which is valid for the whole length of your stay in the US. There arenโt restrictions on issue date or length of time before it expires UNLESS you intend to travel via an EU country.
- An ESTA https://t.co/hgERLvmpPw which is the US Visa waiver programme. Most Scots will be eligible for this.
- If you canโt get an ESTA youโll need a visa which will involve being interviewed at the US embassy in London.
Reasons for not getting an ESTA and requiring a visa interview:
Youโve been to Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria or Yemen since 2011.
Youโve been to Cuba since 2021.
Youโve got a criminal record
If you think you may not be eligible for an ESTA, you should apply for sooner rather than later to get confirmation that you need a visa.
St.Mirren have all but sold out their initial 9.5K allocation of tickets for the League Cup final.
As a result, a further 3.5K tickets have been released to Saints ahead of the next phase of their sale which starts tomorrow as the season ticket holder exclusive period ends.
I'd say it's very unlikely that St.Mirren will sell more than that 13K which would mean Celtic getting around 35K for the match with the rest going to sponsors etc...
Maybe that will stop the incessant whining we've had to endure over the course of the last week.
It's unlikely but we live in hope.
