@petewass@NateSilver538 I did a little more reading on the rule's implementation and I think you're right. It seems odd to have a foul that ignores intent and negligence but that seems to be the case.
@petewass@NateSilver538 It wasn’t obvious to me. Balogun is looking to his left for the ball while Muharemovic is running along his right side until he cuts across Balogun for the ball. Balogun tries to fend him off and they get entangled. Both seem to be playing tough but clean football.
@Speranskylives@NateSilver538 Yes. But I was talking about doing the right thing, not the allowed thing. Relying on the Disciplinary Committee to grant an extraordinary suspension over a judgment call is bad for the spirit of the competition.
@danom220_dan@hicks76622@WallStreetApes You started by announcing your complete ignorance of the subject of recent Ukrainian history. Now that you’ve been called on your proud ignorance on that subject, you start spouting ignorant nonsense on a new topic: aging. Impressive.
@danom220_dan@hicks76622@WallStreetApes You really need to learn a little history D Mac: https://t.co/1I0BPPFNHd. It doesn’t reflect well on your intellectual curiosity that we’re four years into the Ukraine War and you haven’t even heard of the Budapest Memorandum.
@hicks76622@WallStreetApes You’re right. We don’t have a treaty obligation to fight for Ukraine. The ethical move, however, is to aid an invaded democracy that voluntarily gave up its nuclear arsenal partly on our assurances of protection against invasion.
@CreativeDeduct@IamLayby I agree with you, however, there are grey areas. For example, the right to a speedy trial is considered a negative right, but that right places an obligation on society to provide the resources for that trial.
@ashtonteng@RpsAgainstTrump The ignoramuses temporarily in charge don’t want you here. Those of us who understand how vital immigrants are to the success of this country do.
@HoyasFan07 Which all points towards America’s increased need to be a good ally and team player at a time when our president is doing exactly the opposite.
@CynicalPublius What are you rambling on about? Everyone knows that US munition supplies are down. The problem here is that Hegseth and Trump launched a stupid war that has eaten up a huge percentage of our reserves. But you, of course, won't comment on that.
@RapidResponse47@SpencerGuard@POTUS I thought the purpose of going to war was to achieve some goal that benefits America not just to see how much stuff we can destroy.
@CynicalPublius@SenatorSlotkin What law gives the President the right to bomb Iran into the Stone Age especially without a formal declaration of war from Congress?
