The only standard for wealth that I aspire to is to be able to go to the grocery store & just buy whatever groceries I want. And by this I don't mean 100% organic/vegan etc. I mean that I can buy that extra frozen pizza & box of ice cream sandwiches I can never seem to afford.

A bigger problem of prevailing dismissive attitudes towards indigenous peoples. A burial is just one example of this. The way archaeology is done needs to change, and publically so.

It is so disturbing to me that people think that modern archaeoligsts in the Americas dig up bodies... and the idea of that to them is... normal?? We do NOT dig up bodies on purpose and when we do there are rightfully so REPERCUSSIONS for doing so. These are not our ancestors.

It seriously disturbs me that people still think that that is an "ethical" way of going about archaeology. It is not. And I think attitudes like this show us how far we have truly to go. And it just starts with bodies. This speaks to a so much bigger problem.

Been having this conversation for a long time now. If you are Non-Native please refrain from talking about your/others "spirit animals." It's extremely disrespectful towards indigenous people. It's not cute. Simply change to "an animal you relate to" it's really not difficult.

When I look into how much water people should be drinking, I always get so afraid. Like 2 to 3L of water? A day??!?!! Sometimes its 6pm and I drink my first and ONLY 4oz of water a day like HELP ME.
