Anyone know that feeling when you’re torn between smiling as broad as you can and crying your soul out?
And not because of happiness, but out of nowhere?...
You were like a fire.
Warm and caressing at first, but then hotter and devouring.
I got burnt too many times.
So when you ask why I stopped coming close to you, let me ask in return:
Would you hold your hand into a fire that has burnt you so often and still hope otherwise?
I ask myself, will it be better? will it be good? when I do this, do that?
And somehow on the inside I know, if I slip once, all I did is suddenly worth nothing.
A healthy relationship looks like one where you both listen AND are heard, where boundaries are respected, and problems are discussed in an honest and upfront way. Your goals align and you uplift each other. #MaybeHeDoesntHitYou
#MaybeHeDoesntHitYou but he uses the things he does „for you“ as an excuse to guilt trip you in arguments that aren’t even related to the topic. Just to weaken your point and make you feel ungrateful.

#MaybeHeDoesntHitYou but when you stand up for yourself he gets all mad and walks away and doesn’t want to talk about it and tells you he’s done with you.
