@esaagar This should be controlled for interest rates. A million dollar home financed at sub 3% is way cheaper than a million dollar home at 6%. At the peak in 2021, a mortgage on $500k was about $2.5k per month. Same mortgage is probably monthly payment of almost $4k now.
I am so proud of the work we’ve done this year to censor offensive words and opinions.
Sadly, bigots are still *thinking* incorrectly, which can be just as damaging to social justice.
Let’s make 2022 the year when we find a way to stop people from thinking wrong thoughts.🤞
if millennials made eye contact long enough to procreate at traditional rates, maybe boomers would be more concerned about grandkids and less inclined to radicalization
@RaoulGMI@dailydirtnap Do you think the rise in home prices is just a function of low inventory? Population movements? Cost of goods for new housing -> existing inventory also rising? What then triggers those home prices to come down (probs not rate shock since it seems so many purchases are all cash)
@joerogan@Samsung Insane cognitive dissonance from Abby Martin on Israel/Palestine vs Cuba. She fails to describe Cubas authoritarian regime suppressing speech, expression, free movement etc. not every road leads back to “all fault lies w/ American imperialism”. JRE needs @madflavor#PatriaYVida
Ending the Cuba embargo is nowhere near as crucial, or easy, as revoking the Clinton-era Proclamation 6867, which bans private US boats from entering Cuban waters.
Many Americans want to provide food, medicine & support to Cubans, but risk federal prosecution when they return.

Makes sense.
