@TheOneMoops @Ronin_CF @MarkRuffalo Regular surgical masks or masks made from double layer tightly woven fabric work for public use as long as they cover both nose & mouth. A Gaiter (fleece covering) and bandanas has the poorest protection. (Study by Duke University).

@TheOneMoops @Ronin_CF @MarkRuffalo Being a nurse, I have used masks for all types of diseases. Tuberculosis, varicella(chickenpox), SARS, COVID19, and measles require healthcare professionals to wear N95 to take care of these patients (they are also kept in negative pressure rooms).

@Ronin_CF @MarkRuffalo If you just wear material over your nose & mothe, no it won't stop it. It you don't wear a surgical or N95 or any other recommended the right way (covering nose & mouth, except when eating & / or drinking) it won"t stop it. Read about how vaccines get started - not just internet!

@CDCDirector I teach nursing and have been reading all of the CDC guidelines. Is social distancing 3 feet or 6 feet. Most people are wearing masks (yaayy!), but are not social distancing because it has not been mentioned as much. I"d love an answer "straight from the horse's mouth".
