I don't understand nostalgia for growing up in the 80s. Parenting was a group of strategies to make children as convenient as possible for adults. Clothing was massively uncomfortable (no stretch, wool sweaters). Family vacations in hot station wagons. Feelings weren't allowed.

I got $50 glasses from an online place b/c my Rx is SO minimal that it doesn't make sense to buy "real" glasses but I'm more comfortable while driving on longer trips.
