Affordable doesn’t mean it is affordable it’s a government ruse to make people think it is. It is not affordable for those who really need it we need social rent housing. They are often the people doing the well off who made this decision need to jobs for them.
I'm not sure if this is an unpopular opinion because I work in housing but does the use of the word "affordable" ever bother anyone else? I'd genuinely like to know because it seems to have about 17 different definitions at the minute depending who is talking about it.

@Simplicitly What a surprise I have yet to meet a Housing Minister worth the job. It’s all about what the current government policy is and they never listen to anyone else. Of course what job they get next is always on the horizon too - that’s my opinion anyway.
We're proud of @victoria_dingle featuring at the #CIH#VirtualHousing conference today. Find all of the Future of Housing films, incl. her take on #ShineALight, the CIH/MIND campaign helping housing pros better support customers with mental illness at https://t.co/OQLU6LzhVy
@DrSchwitters @TimMorton2 My first job was Huntley & Palmers we had canteens, cafe, pound of broken biscuits every week, wonderful medical centre, social club. Worked us hard but cared about us too.
@NGoodrichHsg @Alison_Inman But of course he can after all the people who make the rules have shown us that they don’t have to obey them so why should anyone else!! Sorry I don’t for one minute believe this-it’s what happens when your led by idiots.
