Super cool excursion - embankment dam construction in central Europe 🤩

Amazing excursion last week with students from the #HydraulicEngineering II and III courses! We went to Kühtai 🇦🇹 to see construction of a new #EmbankmentDam for additional #PumpedStorage capacity, and a #Hydropeaking #RetentionBasin. Also a nice night out in Innsbruck!

Great to be at the 12th #ICOLD European Club Symposium in Interlaken 🇨🇭! Prof. Robert Boes and Dr. Benjamin Hohermuth presented on #LowLevelOutlets during a workshop on #HydraulicsOfDams. Workshop attendees can now design the #AirVent of an #LLO!
