Reminder that if DJ Moore never took his helmet off in this game, Panthers would have won, would have been picking 15 instead of 9, and Bears most likely don’t trade that far down and don’t get DJ Moore.
Life is funny
@finesseboard Clowney would be an excellent fit on this defense but he's gotta want to be here and show he's all-in for the team. If he performs, people will appreciate him. It would be a great story.
Preference
1. Bryce Young at 1
2. Stroud after a trade down
3. Richardson after a trade down
All three are going to be a huge lift for this team but IMO Young is hands-down the best option that can make an immediate impact. He's already a top prospect who can only get better.
AR - low comp% struggles to win. 6-8 record in gms w/ 10+ attempts. Athletic everything.
Bryce - Small frame. Doug Flutie-like with less running. Brilliant football mind. High TD/INT ratio
CJ - Accurate passer, some mobility, High comp%, high TD/INT ratio.
Who do you want?
In 3 WR sets, the Panthers WRs will feature:
Adam Thielen
D.J. Chark
Terrace Marshall Jr.
The offensive staff features:
HC Frank Reich (Colts 2018-22)
OC Thomas Brown (Rams 2020-22)
I've dove into each WRs usage and why these moves make a lot of sense going forward.
Carolina is doing a phenomenal job of raising their perceived interest in Bryce Young. Whether it is legit or not is another question but if that was their intent (a trade down to land Stroud), it's working. As a fan, I'm not even sure who I want.
We have another @DraftBrothersCR episode to share with you from @ChampionsRound. @EagleDanFF and I spoke with @PanthersAnalyst to discuss the #Panthers draft options. What is needed to land a high-profile QB and which one to target? We discuss it all. #KeepPounding
