Youth pitchers should concentrate on throwing strikes and development and not worry about what the radar gun says. But are we too far gone to go back to this?
@CoachSwit Insanity…few weeks ago- 15u tournament in Virginia, a team brought in a guest player, threw him 8 innings- 129 pitches against us. Total for the weekend was 11 1/3rd innings and 188 pitches on the weekend. No arm care routine at all…
28’ Eli Andrews. Smaller frame, but has a lively mid 7’s fastball, and offspeed he can control with great movement. Someone who will do a job with runners on base. Very coachable and will only continue to get better as his body changes.
28’ C/UTL Logan Stroud. 6’1 frame helps produce his low 8’s velo on the mound. Is a true bulldog that will hustle when he’s on the field. A 1.9 pop time and that will only continue to get better as he grows stronger and matures. Smooth RH swing with sneaky pop also.
29’ Easton Pardue. Continues to rake for us. This is a kid you will want to keep your eyes on. Currently 5’10, and has a lot more time to grow and get stronger. Will be a great bat for a college to get in the future.
28’ Bentley Joyce. His 6’2 frame helps and will continue to improve his game. Started on the mound went 5IP 0H, 0R, 1BB, 11K’s. Lively fastball topping at 79, CH-71, CB-72. Also was 1-2 at the plate with a 3RBI triple.

Never take for granted every opportunity when you get to play! There are so many that will never get these opportunities, so consider it a blessing and be thankful for the health and the gifts that you’re blessed with!🏽
