@SenThomTillis Bull. I’ve worked in the Medicaid service system for 40 years and this is not true in theory or reality. What we want Medicaid to go to are the 19k people with disabilities who can’t get services. If you have IDD republicans have ignored all issues. Want to check your own voting?

@paulapoundstone Will not be direct cuts. Been in the disability field 40 years. It’s back door cuts…increasing caseloads, requiring authorization for life long needs where the auths get cut, taking away housing and then campaigning against those with MH needs in prisons and the streets. Sick

@HHSGov To answer your question about why there were not children with autism from your generation...it's because they were put in institutions. Watch videos taken in the 60's and 70's and you will see the same traits and behaviors in some people.

@mcuban Not just seniors. People with intellectual disabilities and severe mental health needs rely on this support. Between this and projected cuts to Medicaid these folks are going to be punished for being disabled.
