We are asking the public for their help in identifying an unknown woman who is believed to be responsible for damaging several residences & vehicles in the southwest community of Kelvin Grove.

📍 On Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, between the hours of 4 a.m. & 5 a.m., it is believed the suspect threw rocks at several windows of residences & vehicles located in the 7300 block of 11 Street S.W., the 7200 block of Kananaskis Drive S.W. & the 1200 block of Killearn Avenue S.W.

After exhausting all investigative avenues to identify & locate the suspect, police are turning to the public for their help in hopes of advancing the investigation.

📣 Anyone with information about this incident or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact police.

It appears Alberta's three largest urban centres played a role in the initiation of thunderstorms this afternoon!

This only tends to happen in certain conditions:

✅ Bright sunshine (city heats up more than surroundings, causing a plume of rising air)
✅ Light winds in the atmosphere (allowing urban heat plume to rise high enough to trigger thunderstorms, without getting pushed over by stronger winds)
✅ Moist, unstable air (enables tall cloud development assuming a supportive background environment)
