Admin, it may be extra work, but check on your staff individually. Group check-ins are good,but the ones really struggling may not want to speak up in a group setting. Teachers, also check on each other, especially if you know someone is having a tough time. Everyone is exhausted

Teachers don't leave because it's hard. They are some of the hardest working professionals I know. They leave because the amount of work no longer is sustainable compared to the pay, respect, support, and value that they deserve for the workload. Administrators too!

Educators, one tip I share whenever I speak is to make time for you and family. If you don't schedule the important things, work will take up everything.

@MonicaGentaEd Why do we use grades at all? The standardized tests show where students are academically. Test and project scores should show progress toward academic goals.......

Do we need more? I had a parent argue that their daughter needed the homework grade to count .. poor test grades
