@lizzy4590 The clip here shows no harm to the ball kid, but only shows your hatred and jealousy against Iga. And I will always remember you are Eala’s fan, if you don’t want another person anti her.
Swiatek d. Podoroska 6-3 6-2
Iga is back in the 3rd round of the U.S. Open
She’s the only player, man or woman, to reach the 3rd round of every Slam since 2020
✅35th win of 2026
✅Won 12 of last 13 matches
Consistent like no other
🇵🇱❤️
Iga Swiatek scheduled off Ashe/Armstrong for the first time since 2021.
Not a big deal overall, Osaka/Eala are unique, etc, but wouldn't happen to a men's player with that resume.
Iga Swiatek is the WTA Baker of the Month for August.
Baker of the Month is the player to win the most sets 6-0/6-1 throughout the month.
After winning the award 4 times in 2025, Iga wins for the first time in 2026!
@JomTones12 I did feel it was extra humid today. Brutal conditions and she was sweating more than I’ve ever seen, struggling to grip the racquet. Went to her towel box a lot. She was really testing the serve clock at times (umpire was lenient), but didn’t feel it was deliberate gamesmanship.
@JomTones12 Well, Sakkari hit only ONE winner during the last two sets. That was clearly not caused by any of Iga’s behavior. Besides, Iga did nothing wrong.
Sometimes I wonder if people really understand what young athletes in the spotlight have to go through behind the scenes, meaning....hateful comments, shameful comments, hurtful comments… this is what social media has opened up, and there is much more exposure to negative comments. Many would say it's the price to pay, but it's still.... awful…
Iga was asked why she thinks the judgment she receives is so intense, especially in her home country.
“That’s an interesting question. I think for a sociologist or someone…”
@Eroir69 Chwalinska's stupid fans are starting bullshit again. That final was garbage, she got crushed by Mirra. The real shameless one is the first-round-exit expert who took Iga's help and never thanked her. She doesn't deserve any support from Iga anymore.
@z_kortu The lesson some Polish people should learn is to be mindful and patient. Iga is the one who has been representing Poland and will stand as Poland’s outstanding representative on the world stage in the years to come.
@NawrockiKn She is a national treasure, yet some Polish people fail to cherish her. Would appreciate that you would pay attention to such situations going forward and offer more encouragement to her and her team.🫡
