A note from our fanbase 💜

We are a Jungkook fanbase. Threats against any human being are not a fandom issue. They are a human issue.

It should be humanly okay to speak up when someone is threatened, no matter if the person is close to the one you support or just a stranger. The people Jungkook talks with, his friends, his members, the people he cares about, are real people too. Speaking up for them is not taking a side. And no human being should ever have to go through weird, frightening death threats for being human.

TELL @BIGHIT_MUSIC: "I AM WORRIED."
As @JKRadioUpdater, we are worried. I AM WORRIED for Taehyung, after the reported death threats connected to Brazil. I AM WORRIED for Jungkook too, because he is part of this concert as well. I AM WORRIED for every member, every staff member, and every person in the audience.

This is not about catering to any fans or fanbases. We know it may sound simple, even naive, but it's about humanity.

Someone who is willing to threaten harm to a real person is not someone we can predict. Nobody knows how far they will go, who they will go after, or whether it is planned or sudden. Today they may hate one person. Tomorrow their own favorite doesn't smile in a video, and the target changes. Even "jokes" about it are not safe.

We have seen before what happens when obsession is taken lightly. Fans have hurt the artists they claimed to love. That is not a distant story.

And it's not only about the artists. There will be thousands of people at these concerts: fans, staff, crew, families. Anyone in that crowd could be affected, and we cannot know in advance who, or how, or whether it is planned or not. A threat does not come with a label or a face. That is exactly why we cannot treat any of them as a joke.

This is not virtual life. Real people are on the other side of the screen.

We hope that, as humans, we can come together to advocate for something better for ALL artists: safety, respect, and the freedom to be human without fear.

WE ASK EVERYONE TO STOP THE VIOLENCE.
That includes threats, harassment, doxxing, hate messages, and "joke" threats, from any fandom and toward anyone: artists, staff, other fans. Fandom fights are one thing. Wishing or planning harm is not, and no fandom should defend it. Please don't attack the person who posted threats either. Document and report, don't engage.

If you have seen threatening posts, report them on the HYBE Artist Protection Portal (https://t.co/CUfe4v3aIY): BIGHIT MUSIC > BTS > "Report a malicious post" > "Artist's safety threatened." Add your links and screenshots, and write in your own words. Only report what you really saw.

WE ASK @HYBEOFFICIALtwt AND @BIGHIT_MUSIC TO TAKE ALL THREATS SERIOUSLY! 💜
