So another parent said something similar to me about washing. That her kid refused to wash themselves and said "it's my body so I get to choose" and that they weren't sure what to do without demeaning that sentiment.
If it's helpful, from really early on we said to our kiddo "As your parents, it's our job to keep you safe and healthy. We will intervene if it has to do with your safety or your health." and after that it's really easy to be like "this is a health/safety concern so do you want me to intervene or can you do it yourself?" Just don't use it for evil LOL be honest with yourself about whether or not it is because they WILL get old enough to know the difference and if you're full of shit and then it's over
if she chose a private island, she’s “out of touch billionaire flaunting her wealth while people are dying, or “billionaire destroying local biology and environment for wedding”, if she got married quietly in her backyard, yall would call it “performative modesty”, if she eloped, it’s “PR lavender marriage”, i can go on and on.
good thing she doesn’t gaf what yall think and chose where it made the most sense for her.
ohhhh so the crew of the artemis II can take candids of each other while piloting a spaceship but my friends can’t take them of me when we’re hanging out
What she fails to say is that Iowa City is the highest ranked out of the 3, and that she and all Iowa Republicans absolutely hate Iowa City for being the most left wing city in Iowa and they do everything in their power to make everything worse for us. Nevertheless, we win.🖕
why is there actually, legitimately, discourse around reading speed right now “8 hours to read a book is slow” “you should be able to read a book in 3-5 hours”
bro we are in a literacy CRISIS, i do not care how fast or slow you read a book, just pick one up and read it
