@EllTFC96 He’s out of contract and we won’t be able to compete on wages. Happens every year and with us being relegated it’s inevitable he won’t want to stay though. I like him but he’s not that great 😊
@JohnCarterScott Nobody can answer the poll until someone makes an offer and we know what they are offering. The club is cheap to buy. The money needed every year to run it is the problem.
@UKREST0RATI0N@bbcdevonsport@BBCDevon@ECFCST@OfficialECFC Put together a sensible offer & business plan. The actual cost of the club probably isn’t the issue it’s the ongoing millions to fund it. A sensible offer would have to be considered and ultimately voted on by the members. If you are talking many millions they might bite.
@UKREST0RATI0N@OfficialECFC The million dollar question which even The Trust can’t answer cos all members will have a different opinion. Some would take £10m which might last a few years, others might say a guaranteed £5m a year for say 10’years. Whatever it is someone needs to offer it
@UKREST0RATI0N@OfficialECFC You may be right but doesn’t change the fact that Trust members will decide and if you want change that’s where it will be decided. Currently looks like the membership want investment but to keep control. Is that realistic? Not sure.
@UKREST0RATI0N@OfficialECFC Most of the board is new. External investment is being sought. It’s up to the Trust members whether it is sold not the club.
@_JoshDenham Let’s hope so. That Huddersfield team was also in the play off positions. If we win we will have more points than that season and still might go down.
@john_ford77@Bretheren@SJG99 @godfztM @SwailesRuth It’s not a massive thing but some companies here. In the public sector South Cambs council is one - 80% of hrs for 100% pay
@Apalaceboy61@iAmJoshHunt The oldest benefits are automatically 5%. Anything from 1997 is RPI to 5%. I’m a trustee of a DB scheme. Trust me that’s quite normal.
@Apalaceboy61@iAmJoshHunt Only around 1 in 10 schemes have no cap. Most are 5% with some at 2.5%. If you have an uncapped one then you’ve done well. Actually with mine some of it is always 5% so I gain when inflation is low.
