I think one of the problems in this fandom is having too many fanbases, some of which may be unnecessary and others run by people who aren't prepared to handle things professionally. While fanbase work is voluntary, a certain level of professionalism is still expected.

Mechanism: Information Filtering - FOHA PH claims to have contacted "49 fanbases," yet JLGlobalFB explicitly states they only learned about critical details via a third party, days too late. This is a classic case of strategic omission. By inserting themselves as the mandatory channel for all communications, they became the de facto gatekeepers of the event. They curated who had the resources to succeed. They held the keys, and they intentionally locked ⭐️ and his team out.

Tactic: Proxy Authority - It is important to note that FOHA PH does not handle venue management. They are fans. Yet, they successfully influenced security to ban ⭐️ flags while allowing others. This is influence peddling. They utilized their position as the "point of contact" to feed specific narratives to security and weaponized "safety protocols" to sanitize the venue of ⭐️'s visible presence. They effectively borrowed the venue's institutional authority to enforce their own personal bias.

Motive: Elite Capture - We see a clear, undeniable double standard where ⭐️ stans were restricted while fans aligned with that group's personal biases (🦆, 🥔, and 🐈‍⬛) enjoyed prime access. In sociology, this concept is referred to as elite capture, which involves the appropriation of a public platform to reinforce a private hierarchy. The message was clear. In his own home country, ⭐️ is a second-class citizen.

Cover-Up: Enforced Silence - A 'Mediator' claiming a 'resolution' has been reached without acknowledging the underlying disparity is engaging in toxic harmony. This approach prioritizes the appearance of peace over the reality of fairness. It serves only to validate the gatekeepers while silencing the aggrieved.

Conclusion: FOHA PH serves as a case study in usurped authority. They positioned themselves as the primary representative of the fandom, only to use that access to limit visibility for specific members. ⭐️ was not 'unlucky'. He was systematically dimmed by the very people claiming to support the group.

Stop hiding behind 'protocols' and 'misunderstandings'. We recognize the architecture of exclusion you built. This was not an administrative error; it was a choice. We reject your hollow 'resolutions'. Accountability is the only currency we accept.

I rarely comment about fanbases in this fandom because I’m already done dealing with issues from handling fanbases before. But if you’re genuinely creating a fanbase for the NINE members.. without prejudice, whether it’s composed of 'rhythm followers' or not then I support you. However, if you’re just pressed about the current fanbases because you think your bias isn’t receiving the support he needs and you only want to focus on him, then think about it twice.

To tell you, handling a kpop fanbase is very different from handling a professional team. You’ll experience a whole different world.. you’re not paid yet people will still act entitled as if they pay you even though you’ve already given your best. The amount of stress will eat you up as time goes by.

Filipino Fohas BADLY need a fanbase that will represent and unite us, not just another entitled fanbase you can use as a trophy to boast about or gain followers. I support you if you’re really sincere about this. Not just to OP but to anyone who truly wants to make a change in our small community.

Concerns and Clarifications on the NYE Event

Hi FOHAs, this is FOHA Philippines.

We want to clarify and address the concerns raised regarding the New Year’s Eve Countdown event.

First and foremost, we sincerely apologize for not issuing an immediate response. We wanted to ensure that all information was verified correctly and aligned with the concerned parties before releasing an official statement.

AHOF NYE Countdown Guesting Information

Contrary to circulating rumors, FOHA Philippines does not have a direct connection with the management.

On September 23, 2025, SM Mall of Asia reached out to inquire about AHOF’s reception during their concert in the Philippines and the possibility of a collaboration. At that time, the nature and scope of the collaboration were not disclosed. We responded to their inquiry and requested further clarification. Official confirmation regarding the collaboration was only provided in December 2025.

Fan Project Coordination and Approvals

Once the collaboration was confirmed to be for AHOF’s guesting at the NYE Countdown, a local Philippine event, we informed Philippine fanbases through our X Group Direct Message, which includes 49 fanbase representatives (OT9, duo, solo, and individual fanbases).

We invited fanbases to submit information about any planned freebies, fan booth materials, or fan projects so these could be included in our proposal to SM MOA. Fanbases that submitted were included in the official list of fan projects. Some fanbases opted not to submit and instead chose to distribute their materials independently at the venue.
