I can see why you might feel this way. At first glance, closing costs can feel like they are difficult to understand which then makes you feel like they may be a scam to take your money. With that being said, the easiest way to avoid higher closing costs is to pay cash for the home. This will greatly reduce the costs and thus remove that feeling of being scammed. Are you in a position to be able to pay cash for the home ?
