Weaponizing blackness to defend AI as if it hasn’t already been used to racially profile Black people and poison Black communities is pathetic, but what else should I expect from this man?
This is what avoiding accountability looks like. Instead of answering the questions honestly, he deflects and tries to lie his way through it. When she won’t accept the false narrative he pushes, he leaves. What an embarrassment.
Here's the full chain of events that led to Trump storming out of his interview with Kristin Welker, beginning with her pressing him on the weaponization fund, continuing with her pointing out the baselessness of his "rigged election" lies, and concluding with him calling her "crooked or stupid" and leaving
The 14th Amendment being repealed would be GLORIOUS for the AI industry and the carceral system to form an unholy union.
What is happening in Louisiana would become NATIONWIDE POLICY. A computer determining your fate.
Louisiana has decided to cede the entire parole decision-making process to an algorithm that will decide if you die in prison or not. There will be no human input or nuance allowed. Even our parole board is sickened by this.

Data centers are the leading cause of a 76% increase in the cost of electricity for America's largest power grid over just the first 3 months of this year, according to Bloomberg.
The 13-state grid managed by PJM serves 67 million people, and costs have spiked this year.
This time last year the cost of electricity on this grid was $77.78 per megawatt-hour. Now that cost has almost doubled to $136.53 per megawatt-hour.
Bloomberg attributes that skyrocketing cost to the "booming demand from artificial intelligence data centers, which require vast amounts of energy and are putting a significant burden on America’s aging power grids."

It's about ensuring Black voters have a choice in the process. Those who deny this are either ignoring the history, or purposely misrepresenting what is happening.
The court’s ruling in a case from Louisiana that weakened the Voting Rights Act has set off a frenzy in some Republican-led states to draw new congressional maps that favor their party. https://t.co/hyWiaHcJqU
This decision immediately opened the door for southern states to draw maps that dilute Black political power with a level of quickness and coordination that should concern everyone who believes in democracy. The redrawing of districts is not just about a few lawmakers.
🚨The End of the Second Reconstruction:
Southern Republicans, after claiming they didn’t need a law to respect the rights of Southern Blacks, moved immediately to eliminate Black reps across the South.
Most Americans think this is a fight over a handful of congressional districts.
It is much, much worse than that.
Plz read and share this 🧵
The South has historically been the testing ground for attacks on Black political power.
The suppression of representation in one state will not stop at state lines. It impacts Congress, laws, & the balance of power nationwide.
Republicans are trying to enshrine minority rule. We must expand the Court & set term limits now.
People protest. Communities object.
Environmental concerns pile up.
These data centers still get built.
Because in America, billionaire interests ALWAYS outrank public consent. We are not the land of the free. And we will not vote our way out of this mess.
Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina — redrawing majority-Black districts right now.
Louisiana cancelled a live election to do it.
Florida just flipped 4 seats with new maps.
Tennessee erased majority-Black Memphis in one vote.
Virginia’s voter-approved map — struck down 4-3.
Five states. Same week. Same playbook.
They’re disappearing Black votes before 2026.
Southern states moved fast to eliminate Black-majority districts after the SCOTUS ruling, proving why the VRA was needed in the first place.
Alito and Roberts argued that the country has evolved beyond the need for the Voting Rights Act. They were immediately proven wrong.
1. 🧵"If you are taking seats from Black people...then you are a thief."
Baton Rouge civil rights activist Gary Chambers said the quiet part out loud Friday as GOP lawmakers push to wipe out Louisiana’s majority-Black districts.
See the heated exchange👇
I saw this video on Viola Davis' instagram this morning and everyone needs to see it.
The gutting of the VRA is the most significant attack on ALL civil rights in America in my lifetime, and after they already came for the women..
We better wake the fuck up. None of us is safe:
There is no clearer case for the necessity of Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 than how quickly southern states moved to eliminate Black-majority districts and dilute Black power after SCOTUS eroded Section 2.
SCOTUS’s reasoning was immediately disproven by reality.
