So it appears to be #PortfolioDay & I'm proud to have a collection of work large enough that I can show off now.
As a 3D artist & environment designer going into the industry soon I'm quite proud of myself for the progress I've made in my skillset over the last few months.

@lilSkeezors @Hardporecorn69@Sturgeons_Law A subtle part. It shows that there are anti-asteroid batteries but the asteroid makes it to the solar system past them without detection. Combined with it being suggested to have travelled half a galaxy unguided, it's heavily implied that the Federation did it to justify the war.
@MAXHALO369@Wario64 The intention is more that game pass revenue won't pay for the funding of a game like this. It makes more sense when you know Larian has repeatedly exhausted its funds building these huge games. They need the revenue full price brings just to cover their responsibilities first.
@DevSpacePrez Kojima did also need to be reined in a lot during the development of the franchise. There's some insightful behind the scenes interviews and videos with the other devs talking about it as well as an amusing kind of weariness for whenever Kojima would come to them with an idea hah
@zna51708742 @HazardON6@DreMeMoTo MGS2 and Terminator 2, plus some others. The most recent Mad Max for example. I appreciate those subversions, especially in the case of MGS2 where it was a striking change for younger men to go from the expected grizzled, ultra masculine Snake to a more effeminate protagonist.
@charles_sainty@KwazeKwaze@Rahll@msquared_art Somewhat true. AI art does not use reference or comprehend anything of its process nor does it digest visual imagery the way a human does. AI art replicates and remixes things in its dataset. Artists have shown how AI models will recreate their work inside of images or completely
@charles_sainty@KwazeKwaze@Rahll@msquared_art Ideally yes, credit at the least though the main point of contention is their use in work that earns money.
As AI art and models are used in for profit works then the artists who had work used for the training data would be entitled to compensation.
@tomaroosky@GeorgeCrudo The issue you have which will be the same with this tool is that it's a subjective process. I know it seems mechanically straight forward but there's a lot of intent and direction needed in how/why things are unwrapped/retop'd the way they are that automation cannot manage.
