As I get older, I don't judge products by just it's advertising. Sometimes I'll buy a product on a whim to see if it's good and not read anything about it on the internet.
Growing up in the 2000s as someone who was diagnosed with ASD , I wish we had that portrayal of people on the spectrum as accurately as possible we could. Just so I could find that sense of relatability.
We need to reevaluate portrayals of people who are autistic in the community. We have gotten there with the portrayal of characters that align with race in television, we're getting there in the trans community, but genuine autistic portrayal in Hollywood has been lacking.
@gooddrwriters way I believe we can make this happen is actually hire autistic actors, and reach out to people in the autistic community online about the basics of everyday life. I'm going to be honest I've only seen promos of the show and after the show has been memed for that one scene I feel
As someone who spent time in the late 2000s/early 2010s messing around with Final Cut for my youtube work. This might convince me to get an ipad for video editing again.
