For most people, running isn't fun. Running 26.2 miles sure as hell isn't fun but as it is for almost all the miles I run, today was such a fun run. I loved every second of it. Seems like a good way to approach life too.
Sure, it's cliche but running a marathon is like a metaphor for life. We really have no idea what's going to get thrown at us despite all our preparations and all we can really do is roll with the punches and soak up the moments. π§΅π
Finished 3:21:09. It's the best, smart race I could have fun today and I'm oddly proud of how I showed up and made the best of a race where everything went wrong over and over again.
Almost feels like @AnthropicAI is pulling Amazon Prime Day stunts. Reduce the effectiveness leading up to the Opus 4.7 launch so the before/after seems huge.
@dev_maims Gen AI is a force multiplier. The more dev experience you have, the bigger the multiplier. Think about learning things like design patterns, architecture and start thinking about the big picture abstractions and youβll be glad you learned this.
I did do an experiment where without any knowledge of Rust, I had Claude Code build a CLI tool that I wanted to be insanely fast. It's called utree (like tree but it also includes classes, methods, and top level comments to give a great table of contents for a codebase). It's a super useful thing to give your AI coding agent access to https://t.co/u3a8nq6I1Y
@DnuLkjkjh I don't use OpenCode (I use either Claude Code or the coding agent I've built) but if I did i'd use gpt-5.3-codex. It's on par with opus but at a fraction of the cost.
Everyone is freaking out about the Claude Code source code being leaked. As someone building a coding agent, I know the secret sauce isn't Claude Code itself. It's the Anthropic models.
@solanamaleykum7 What did you build and how did you monetize it? Reason I ask is there's a million vibe coders here on X but there's far fewer that have made money on their apps.
