Love activity, especially the mountains, squash, cycling, zwifting during lockdown!
Appalled by the current political situation in the UK: brexit/Tories.
@MattGubba Very simplistic post that ignores how Ltd companies work vs sole traders and how risk varies from sector to sector.
Yes, some business set ups are high risk but others are close to zero risk hence why we now have IR35.
@Patrici46633494 To all the Brits trying to explain that this is complete rubbish: please stop.
Do we really want the sort of ppl who would believe this garbage to come here anyway......🤣
@DanielPriestley It's unfair to say he doesn't know the difference between income tax and IHT.
He was asking you if it's fair that a millionaires child could inherit £millions virtually tax free while Gary had to work and pay 40/50% tax for his £millions.
@LozzaFox Please explain how wokism caused a cost of living crisis and inflated house prices to the extent that most youngsters cannot afford to buy one.
🤣🤣🤣
@TIMLEWIS1985 @CricketRef If you add the time saved by changing ends every 10 balls rather than 6, probably looking at 30mins+?
For families with kids at a night match maybe makes a difference?
@ColinBrazierTV Why does the BBC have to be impartial, it's not UK.
Should they be impartial about Russia invading Ukraine?
Trump is a convicted criminal who refused to accept he lost the last election and encouraged his supporters to march on Capitol Hill.
@CricketRef 10 balls can be a lot in the context of the game, these days 25+ runs are common from the last 10 balls, and also the time saved by only changing ends every 10 balls is significant.
I don't know for a fact but guessing 100 would still be quicker than T15 and gives 10 more balls.
@davidflatman ..costs such as energy/house/food have increased for those on low wages: these are the ppl I have sympathy for, not wealthy parents forced to find another few £k.
Gov needs to tax the wealthy more as the poor are already screwed, this seems a fair way to increase tax take to me.
@davidflatman Average PS fees around £16-17k p/a, so an increase (if all of VAT is passed on) of around £3.5k per child.
I suspect anyone who can afford the fees in the first place can afford another £3.5k, if sending their child to PS is important to them.
Looking at how essential living..
@OllieHolt22 England manager is a poison chalice of a job and and I doubt we’ll get anyone decent who will win a major tournament or better Southgate's record.
So, I agree, history will be kind to Gareth.
@OllieHolt22 Exactly.
First tournament I remember was Spain82 and I’ve enjoyed being an England fan more in the past 8 years than at any other time.
I still look back fondly to Italia90 and Euro96 where we only made it to the Semi’s!
Semi’s/Final/Qtr’s/Final under Southgate is a decent run.
I’m sorry but all these joke candidates are deeply unfunny and make a mockery of our electoral system… but anyway enough about Rees Mogg, how did baked bean head man get on
I'm gonna explain to y'all why Britain considers 78°F/25°C hot. I know hot because I grew up in Texas and spent half my life in Las Vegas. So I am absolutely qualified to explain this to the rest of you who laugh at UK "heat waves".
@PippaCrerar Even if he didn't know the date in advance (unlikely), placing a bet for a £500 profit using an online account in his own name perfectly sums up how dumb this Tory party are.
🤣
