He isn't a lock down small defender, he isn't a distributor off half back and he doesn't effectively link with plays from defence, so what is his role? IMO, his role is very easily replaceable to give others a game as there are many that deserve it

Bond is already superior defensively & probably aerobically too & Ryan is genuine run & carry, great penetration by foot which Laird has never been. It's a genuine no brainer for me that Laird is back up at best

@AflDraftTool Would love to know how you got Laird at 106. Was pushed out of Mid rotation at the back end of 24 & now with Peatling, Draper & ANB in plus more mins to Ranks & Rachele how does Laird get this score? Also limited spots down back as I don't see him fitting into that previous role?

@JADelaideX Max Michalanney has a breakout year & makes AA squad. Sid Draper plays 20 games & finishes top 3 Rising Star & top 15 B&F, Peatling leads AFL for tackles & Rankine becomes the best fwd/mid in the league! 👌🤞
