On June 19, 1865, the news of the Emancipation Proclamation issued by President Lincoln finally reached those who remained enslaved in Texas.
Juneteenth marks a defining moment in American history and serves as a reminder of our values as a nation and a party - that the Republican Party itself was founded in opposition to slavery and dedicated to the principle that all people are created equal.
Today, we honor the triumph of freedom, reflect on our nation’s journey, and celebrate the enduring promise of liberty for all Americans. 🇺🇸

Results matter — and Congressman Jeff Van Drew has delivered for South Jersey.
From fighting to protect Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid for seniors who earned it, to working to lower prescription drug costs, securing major investments for the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center in Cape May, protecting the FAA Technical Center, and standing up against offshore wind projects that threaten South Jersey’s coast and economy, Rep. Van Drew has built a record of fighting for local families and taxpayers.
South Jersey deserves a Congressman who delivers — and Jeff Van Drew continues to get results.

🚨 BREAKING: Newark appears to have created its own “Summer of Love” style no-enforcement zone.
A Newark Police memorandum dated June 8 reportedly instructed officers NOT to handle calls for service related to Delaney Hall and instead notify supervisors immediately.
This is what happens when politicians and activist theater spiral so far out of control that normal policing protocols start getting suspended around politically sensitive locations.
We watched cities like Portland and Seattle collapse into chaos after politicians handcuffed police and allowed “special zones” where normal enforcement no longer applied.
Now Newark wants to join the club.
The same politicians who fueled this mess will still have security details, gated neighborhoods, and press conferences. Regular Newark residents and police officers are the ones left dealing with the consequences.
Equal enforcement of the law either exists everywhere… or nowhere.
Mikie Sherrill’s Father’s Company’s Nearly Billion Dollars in Federal Contracts Under Scrutiny: Records show a company led by Dave Sherrill, the father of New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill, has received federal contract awards spanning nearly two decades… https://t.co/KsdTob46WM
EXCLUSIVE: Noncitizens in New Jersey were on the voter rolls for years — and some even cast ballots before asking to be removed, according to documents obtained through public records requests.
Records reviewed by the NJGOP and RNC show multiple noncitizens seeking citizenship told election officials they were unknowingly registered to vote, with several pointing to the DMV as the source.
Most had no voting history, but county records show at least some voted in elections before being removed from the rolls.
The records were uncovered after Republicans requested voter roll data from all 21 New Jersey counties and are drawing renewed attention to how noncitizens were registered and what safeguards could be put in place to catch the errors sooner.
Mikie Sherrill is either the most popular candidate NJ has ever seen or we have a fundamental problem here
Considering illegals are on our voter registration, more folks registered than eligible & NJ Democrats didn't want to hand the rolls over, might want to look into the election here Jersey
The drugged-up psychopath who allegedly stabbed 5 people at Penn Station yesterday was free after a similar stabbing attack in New Jersey in 2022. Stop letting these lunatics roam the streets.

Our Election Integrity Task Force has uncovered evidence of hundreds of non-citizens having been listed on New Jersey’s voter rolls.
We need reforms to our system to ensure only those eligible can be registered and vote
Election integrity is not a partisan or political issue - it is the very foundation of our democracy.
New Jerseyans deserve safe and fair elections, and decisive action must be taken swiftly to ensure this.
