Adults in schools...
Taking ownership is not about accepting blame.
Owning something is about claiming the power to do something about it.
Owning something allows us to accept the reality & affirm our ability to change it.
Own it.
Change it.
For the better.
Extremely proud of our educators that earned Teacher Incentive Allotment designations. Our 8 Designated teachers have earned nearly half a million dollars paid out over the next 5 years! They are worth every penny and many more!!

@WeAreTeachers I got a thank you note this week. I’m sure it only took a few minutes to write and stick in my box but it was exactly the encouragement that I was needing.
When you lose power, you figure out a way to keep Space Camp engaging! We did a read aloud about the Milky Way and created our own galaxies using chalk.
Today I got to tell a student that she passed out most recent unit test. This student has never passed a reading test. This was such a huge confidence boost for her and exactly why I continue to show up for my kids every single day.
I have taught The Trial of SpongeBob for 3 years, 6 classes each year. My kids are still picking out pieces of evidence that I never even considered! I love the engagement! @chmsbulldogs1
@Christen2121@chmsbulldogs1 I’m out tomorrow for UIL but the kids should still be working on it! The kids will be presenting their claims and evidence on Friday.
We started the trial of SpongeBob today and my kids are so engaged! I even had other teachers tell me that my kids were discussing it in their classes!
