Earlier this year, my husband Abraham was diagnosed with a very rare bone cancer. This has been a challenging time for us and is hard to talk about. But so many of you have reached out asking how he’s doing, and sharing your prayers and well wishes with us. We made this video to share a little about what this journey has been like, and to update you on his recovery. Mahalo for all of the love and support 🙏🏽
URGENT: Sepehr Amirzadeh, a young medical student in Iran, has reportedly been sentenced to death after treating wounded protesters.
I am calling on every doctor in Iran and around the world: please help save your fellow future doctor.
His name is Sepehr Amirzadeh. He is a medical student. He reportedly faces execution in Iran.
His “crime”? He treated wounded protesters during January uprising. He tried to save lives.
When people were bleeding, Sepehr did not ask about their politics. He did what medicine demands: he helped the wounded.
For that act of humanity, security forces raided his home, arrested him and now he may be sent to the gallows.
Doctors of the world, please do not let him face the executioner alone. Be his voice. Save Sepehr.

Heartbreaking breaking news: Hayden Panettiere has died at just 36 years old, leaving behind her young daughter, Kaya. 💔
Hayden spoke openly over the years about her struggles with postpartum depression, alcoholism and addiction. She never hid how difficult those battles could be, and her willingness to talk about them helped countless women feel less alone.
Whatever the circumstances surrounding her death, 36 is far too young. My heart breaks for her daughter, who now has to grow up without her mom.
May Hayden rest in peace, and may her little girl be surrounded by love, strength and protection in the days and years ahead. 🙏🏼
This was me as a little girl, forced into hijab. And this is me after I broke free.
In Iran, I was told: wear the hijab or be kicked out of school. Resist, and you can be arrested, beaten, lashed, or imprisoned, or killed it in the hand of morality Police.
Then I came to the West and was told: be careful telling your story, it might cause “Islamophobia.”
I am a woman from the Middle East. I have lived under Islamist ideology. I have every right to fear it, criticize it, and speak about it.
Don’t silence us in the name of tolerance. Let us talk.
This is the low IQ stuff people are posting as a victory? Errr he's not charged with Murder or Capital Murder, because Utah calls it Aggravated murder. This is like claiming Kyle Rittenhouse didn't face Murder charges because they didn't use the word Murder & use Homicide instead
Sometimes when I feel like I've taken a step forward in my life, something will happen where I feel I took two steps back!
It's humbling and frustrating
