To all the children, you are loved, you are capable, you are important, you are deserving and you matter.
Remember to remain courageous and hopeful.
Happy Children's Day 🧡
Vaccines protect our children across communities and countries and prevent outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases.
Yet, there are still nearly 20 million children in the world today who are not getting the vaccines they need.
Don’t wait until your child is exposed to a serious illness – like during an outbreak.
There may not be enough time to receive all the vaccine doses needed to keep you safe from the disease.
The Federal Govt of Nigeria has made vaccines available, accessible and FREE.
Over the years, CASAF has partnered with other NGO's and Pharmaceutical companies to fight malaria, by providing and running free malaria tests and treatment for underprivileged children in communities.
In 2018,there were 228 million cases and 405,000 deaths from malaria, with Africa accounting for 94% of all deaths.
Children under age 5 are most at risk. In 2018,children under 5 accounted for 67% of all malaria deaths worldwide.A child still dies every 2 minutes from malaria
On behalf of the families we have been able to reach, and the families we will reach in the coming week.
We say a big thank you, to everyone who has made it possible.
