@jaydisc Things have been quiet lately, but don't worry, I have no intention of abandoning Cascadea! Would love to do an iOS version - step one is rewriting the extension end of the Mac app as a Web Extension, which will probably be the focus of the next release.

@CatalinVoss Please try this, then - in Safari's Preferences, disable Cascadea's extension. Then, in a Terminal, run "defaults delete https://t.co/Wlh8P31G4u.extension". Then, enable the extension again. Does that fix it for you?

Hopefully things will settle down soon and I'll have a bit more time to spend on Cascadea. Until then, I appreciate all the enthusiasm and support you all have shown the app, and keep on styling!

Oh hello! Things have been a bit quiet on the Cascadea front for a bit now, and with iOS 15 right around the corner, I thought I should probably explain why. Don't worry - Cascadea's not going anywhere.

Long story short: I've been dealing with the fallout of a natural disaster, then I got a fantastic new job for a cool company some of you may be familiar with, and then I packed up and moved over 2000 miles across the country. So my Cascadea time has been a bit limited. :)

@Cykelero Hmm, it's working on my end - any particular websites you're seeing the issue with, or is it not working on multiple sites?

@garysucks @import Sorry for the delayed response! Content security policy is set by the website and enforced by Safari, with - as far as I've found - no way for an extension like Cascadea to get around it. (I've tried!) If a site's CSP blocks external web fonts, not much can be done, I'm afraid.

@garysucks @import That looks fine. Is there any error in the Safari console about the Content Security Policy?

@garysucks @import Thanks for the kind words! Regarding webfonts - the main thing to check is that the @.import rules are the first thing Cascadea injects into the site. If you open the Safari web inspector, is there anything before your import rules in Cascadea's style element?

@clawfire Thanks for the feedback! More preprocessors are on the way, though Less is taking priority at the moment. CSS variables should work, though! Please email me at [email protected] with an example and I'll take a closer look.

@JackWH21 That said, I have an idea as to a possible solution on Cascadea’s end, but I’d need a bit to get a test build of Cascadea together to send you. It’s been a very busy time in my personal life, so please bear with me a bit until I can work on this further!

@marcosdiasalves Yep! Cascadea is meant to be cross-compatible with styles written for Stylus, as well as the UserCSS format. Styles you've already written can largely be copied over, and most styles shared online can import into Cascadea too.
