Since lockdown March 2020, musicians & other entertainers went online to keep themselves & the public going, I did it with my twitch, if the arts have gotten you through this pandemic please fight for us, these are our jobs, it is utterly disgusting how we are being mistreated

The Govt accidentally legalising huge 200 capacity parties purely cos the Tánaiste went to a Zappone do is the most hilariously Irish moment since that time they mistakenly made ecstasy and LSD legal for 24hrs. I do hope a Minister goes to a packed theatre next.

The devastation in Gaza is unconscionable. We must urge an immediate ceasefire. The killing of Palestinians and Israelis must end. We must also take a hard look at nearly $4 billion a year in military aid to Israel. It is illegal for U.S. aid to support human rights violations.

[SAL @salmusic_ie]

@AnamMusic2 we are running gigs in The Royal Spa in Lisdoonvarna

[Úna Molloy @TurningPirate]

A little help here would be much appreciated - how many independent music venues are there in Ireland? I mean places with a separate venue space, stage, PA that focus on line music ticketed events? Any tags for anyone I’ve left out? @lostlanedublin @whelanslive @SpiritStore

[Úna Molloy @TurningPirate]

When arts and events businesses are back up and running I think we should pool rescources and employ lots of very tall men with large heads to attend every event and sit or stand in rows of 3 in front of any current members government that go to gigs apart from the obvious few.

[Úna Molloy @TurningPirate]

@Cormac_moore12 All booked in and ready to go over the next few weekends in several music venues and theatres by countless programmers and artists trying to support each other... but now the has been pulled just as people had figured out ways to make something work

[Úna Molloy @TurningPirate]

A socially distant gig without the arbitrary complication of food, 50 people in a room for 105 mins for a short solo concert, table service drinks, all restrictions and safety measures in place, is a lot bloody safer then so many things and offers a safe night out of the house.

[Úna Molloy @TurningPirate]

There are publicans all over the country who may never open their doors again, these include some of the people who have poured their blood, sweat and tears into your favourite music venues.

Give venues a chance to trade safely and earn a living. #supportnotsymathy
